The votes are in. Here’s which kitty was voted the cutest cat in the Macon area
Kitty kisses, sweet snuggles and playful moments. All cats are cute in their own way, but which one is the cutest in the Macon area? Well, we just found the winner.
We started out our cutest cat contest with six of the most adorable cats around and after a couple of weeks of voting, we are ready to crown the cutest of all.
With 62% of the vote, the winner of the cutest cat contest is…
BuBu from Warner Robins!
“Around Thanksgiving four years ago, she showed up at our front door and when we opened the door, she just walked right in with no hesitation. Once in our house, she never left. She claimed us as her owners and our house as hers,” said BuBu’s owner, Ari Epstein.
Epstein said BuBu was about 10 at the time and previously wandered the neighborhood after her long-time owners moved out, leaving her behind.
Epstein also explained that she never had a cat before because of a cat allergy, but once BuBu moved it, that all changed.
“Miraculously, after having been very allergic to cats for over 20 years, the allergy vanished as soon as BuBu moved in. No more difficulty breathing, no terrible eye redness. Nothing. It was as if BuBu was the cure,” Epstein said. “She truly has turned us into ‘cat people.’”
