North Carolina man dies in Houston County motorcycle crash, sheriff’s office says
A North Carolina man died in a motorcycle crash in Houston County Sunday morning, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened just before 3 a.m., at the intersection of Highway 41 and Lakeview Road. Zachary Allen Eddy, 39, was driving a 2023 Indian Chieftain and “failed to negotiate the roundabout” at Lakeview Road, the sheriff’s office said.
Eddy lost control of the motorcycle, the sheriff’s office said. He died from his injuries on scene.
