A woman died as a result of a motorcycle crash in Forsyth this weekend, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred south of Hill Road on US Highway 41 on Saturday.

Katie Sykes, 44, of Forsyth died as a result of the wreck, deputies said.

The incident remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
