Macon woman found dead, cause of death unknown, sheriff’s office says
A Macon woman was found dead Friday afternoon, prompting an investigation from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said a call came in to 911 just after 5 p.m. Friday regarding an unresponsive female. When deputies responded, they found a woman unresponsive in her room in the 2800 block of Houston Avenue.
The Bibb County Coroner’s Office pronounced the woman dead on scene, and she was identified as 33-year-old Tiffany Dupree.
“At this time, the cause of death is unknown,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “Dupree will be sent to the GBI to have an autopsy perform to determine the cause of death.”
