‘Tulsa King’ production company returns to Macon, causing these road closures
Filming for a television show will shut down several roads as it films this weekend in downtown Macon, according to a news release from Macon-Bibb County.
King Street Productions, which produces “Tulsa King” on Paramount+, will film downtown, according to the county. While Macon-Bibb County didn’t say what show would be filmed, the crew previously came to Macon to film “Tulsa King,” which is a crime drama starring Sylvester Stallone. The show previously was shot in May at Fatty’s Pizza.
King Street Productions will move between different locations Saturday and Sunday. It was unclear what times the crews will shoot.
Aaron Buzza, Visit Macon senior vice president, said this could increase tourism in the city.
“It’s great to have a production crew come back to our community,” Visit Macon Senior Vice President & COO Aaron Buzza. “We continue to be recognized as a prime location for filming, and that’s more than just our scenery. It’s about how welcoming people are here to visitors.”
