Twenty five years after Brax’s death, the band is comprised of nearly a dozen people who played music with Brax and want to continue to honor his legacy.

Two bands who previously performed shows at Bragg Jam are back to headline this year’s music festival in Macon over the summer.

American Aquarium, the alternative country band, and Susto, the rock band, will headline this year’s Bragg Jam after performing for the music crawl festival before. And officials with Bragg Jam introduced a new concept called “Muddy Mystery Shows,” which Olivia Walter, president of Bragg Jam, describes as a “secret, unique pop-up shows in kind of non-traditional venues — places you would never expect to see a concert.”

The twist is that “neither the artists nor the locations will be announced until just hours before showtime,” Walter said.

Bragg Jam will be held on July 26, with two Muddy Mystery shows being held on July 25 in the evening and one Muddy Mystery show held on July 27 in the afternoon.

General admission tickets for Bragg Jam are available online for $50, with VIP passes for $125.

For those who purchase Bragg Jam tickets and are interested in watching the Muddy Mystery shows, one show will be $10, and admission to all three is $25. The Muddy Mystery shows will be $15 per show to those who have not purchased Bragg Jam tickets.

Families can also participate in Bragg Fam, which will be held at the new Otis Redding Center for the Arts early July 26. Tickets are $10, which includes entry for one adult and up to four children.

“This is your chance to experience live music like never before, intimate, unexpected, and full of surprise,” Walter said.
