Multiple Macon restaurants ace health inspections with perfect scores. Here’s a list
Just over a dozen Macon restaurants, a coffee and dessert shop, and a bar aced recent routine health inspections with perfect scores of 100.
Moreover, most restaurants across Bibb County earned “A’s” during the reporting period of Jan. 1-31, according to what was reported Tuesday in the state health department’s online portal. Only four restaurants received “B’s,” one received a “C,” and none failed.

Here’s how the scores are graded:
- “A” for a score between 90 and 100 that indicates “food safety excellence.”
- “B” for a score between 80 and 89 for “satisfactory compliance.”
- “C” for “marginal compliance’‘ based on a score between 70 and 79.
- “U” for ``unsatisfactory compliance” based on a score of 69 or less.
