Join the Macon Telegraph for a reader event. Meet our reporters, ask us questions.
As you may already know, the Telegraph is preparing for a major change: On Aug. 19, we will begin printing our paper two days per week.
We want our readers to be prepared for this change, and we want to give you the opportunity to ask questions of the staff about our array of digital offerings. With that in mind, we’ve planned a forum for our audience on July 31. You can RSVP for the free event at macon.com/event.
We will deliver Wednesday and Sunday papers every week, and because they’re delivered by mail, you’ll get your Sunday paper on Saturday.
In addition to two papers, our print subscribers will still get access to all our reporting online. That includes several great features to stay connected with our reporting: Our website features fresh news 24/7 at macon.com, and our top stories are provided to readers every weekday through our morning newsletter, which you can sign up for at macon.com/newsletters.
A subscription also gets you access to our online Edition, a newspaper-style product that’s curated every morning with the top local news of the day. It can be accessed at macon.com/edition.
We invite you to join us at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, located at 301 Cherry St. in Macon. We’ll hold our forum in the Club Room, where you can come hear about all our online options and ask questions to me and our staff. We will have our event from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with presentations at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
You can read more about this change in my column on our website.
