Dublin Chick-Fil-A employee hit by car in drive-thru & hospitalized, restaurant says

A Dublin Chick-Fil-A employee was injured and taken to a local hospital after an accident in the restaurant’s drive-thru, according to a Facebook post by the Laurens County location.

A car hit the worker Monday night in the drive-thru, the Facebook post read. The chicken eatery closed early Monday night after the injury.

The worker was responsive at the restaurant and is expected to be OK, according to a Chick-Fil-A corporate spokesperson. The extent of the worker’s injuries was unclear in both the Facebook post and the spokesperson’s statement.

The Dublin Police Department said no further information about the accident was available Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant’s owner declined to comment.
