Florida man dies in single vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Monroe County
A Florida man driving south on Interstate 75 in the wee hours Wednesday morning died after his vehicle crashed into the highway median, investigators believe.
Hateram Lachman of Tampa, Florida, crashed at mile marker 186 on I-75 south. Forsyth police were dispatched around 3:30 a.m and found Lachman dead at the scene. They called Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies to investigate.
Their preliminary investigation shows Lachman ran off the highway and struck the median wall. A female passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies are still investigating the crash..
