Atrium Health Navicent donates medical supplies for humanitarian relief in Ukraine
Three tractor trailer trucks pulled into the Atrium Health Navicent warehouse on Cavalier Drive Monday to pick up 35 tons of medical supplies the hospital was donating to the humanitarian effort in the Ukraine.
As part of Atrium’s “For All” mission, 78 pallets of thermometers, exam gloves, cleaning supplies and other items will be delivered and distributed by the International Ukrainian Crisis Fund and Project C.U.R.E. non-profit organizations to hospitals in Kyiv, Ukraine.
“We are proud to share these much-needed supplies with doctors and nurses in the Ukraine so they can better care for the sick and injured patients who rely on their medical intervention for survival,” said Atrium Health Navicent President and CEO Delvecchio Finley.
