The Children’s Christmas Tree that appears in the Telegraph on Christmas Day is a gift from us to the community. If you’re interested in having your child participate, here are the rules:

  • The child must be between 2 and 6 years old as of Dec. 24, 2022 and live in our Middle Georgia readership area.
  • They cannot have been on the Children’s Christmas Tree previously.
  • If you have multiple children who qualify, they can all participate.
  • Photos will be taken in person at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon (4182 Forsyth Rd, Macon, GA 31210) on Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Thursday, Dec. 8 from 1-4 p.m. There is no makeup date for photos, and digital submissions will not be accepted.

  • Photos are first-come, first-serve.
  • Participants will also be included in a time-lapse video.

Any other questions or concerns should be emailed to Telegraph senior editor Caleb Slinkard at cslinkard@macon.com.
