Buc-ee’s was once sued because their gas was too cheap. Is that still true in Middle GA?

A Buc-ee’s in Alabama was sued for setting illegal gas prices in 2019. While the state’s gas prices were around $2.00 a gallon, Buc-ee’s was selling gas at $1.80, allegedly violating the Alabama Motor Fuel Marketing Act.

This made us curious about Middle Georgia’s Buc-ee’s location. Here’s what we found:

According to GasBuddy, $3.59 is the current price for gas at the Buc-ee’s in Warner Robins. This is significantly lower than GA’s state average of $4.11.

However, quite a few other Warner Robins locations show lower prices than Buc-ee’s:

  • $3.29, Holiday Food Store at 1236 Watson Blvd.

  • $3.54, Circle K at 1941 Watson Blvd.

  • $3.54, Pure at 914 Russell Pkwy.

  • $3.56, Circle K at 1242 Russell Pkwy.

  • $3.56, Murphy USA at 501 Booth Rd.

In Bibb county, the price for gas averaged at $4.07. Houston and Peach counties are just below $4. Crawford and Monroe are a bit higher at $4.26 and $4.12, respectively.
