Warner Robins High School administrators said they removed two racist, handmade signs posted inside the school and have “dealt” with the person who hung them up.

A Facebook post from a Warner Robins High School student’s mother contains a screenshot of a message she received from her child. The screenshot shows a sign that says “whites here” above a water fountain and one saying “colored here” over what appears to be a porcelain sink. The post has been shared more than 1,000 times on Facebook.

“This morning, we discovered offensive signage hung on the wall in our school, which we immediately removed,” Warner Robins High School principal Chris McCook said. “I wanted you to know that we are aware of the situation and have dealt with the person responsible.

“We take these offensive matters very seriously, and we do not tolerate this type of behavior. Thank you for your continued support of Warner Robin High School.”
