Two people die in fiery crash early Tuesday morning in Warner Robins

Two people died in a single-car crash in Warner Robins early Tuesday morning.

First responders arrived on the scene shortly before 5 a.m. near Watson Boulevard and Austin Avenue. A red Chevrolet Sonic let the roadway before striking a concrete pole at a high rate of speed.

The car caught on fire and came to rest near Austin Avenue. Two people were found dead in the car after the fire was extinguished.

The Warner Robins Traffic Division is investigating the crash and is trying to identify the two individuals involved in the accident. Anyone with any additional information can contact Sgt. Tim Pippio at 478-293-1048.
