Bicyclist killed in collision with car in Crawford County

A 37-year-old man was killed when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car on a Crawford County roadway Friday night, according to the sheriff’s office.

The bicyclist, Brandon Lawrence Taylor of Peach County, was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner, according to a Crawford County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The car’s driver was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, after the 6:25 p.m. collision on Boy Scout Road near Holcomb Valley Road.

The sheriff’s office and the Georgia State Patrol are investigating.
