Bibb County Schools has elected to halt all spring sports in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the urging of the GHSA, according to a release sent out by the district.
The suspension will include games and practices and will begin after March 13. All games scheduled for March 13 will proceed as planned.
A decision will be made following spring break on how the district will proceed with games. Spring break runs from March 30-April 3.
The suspension includes games and practices. Activities scheduled for Friday, March 13, will continue as usual.
