Jones County inmate dies in custody

A Jones County jail inmate died of a heart attack early Sunday, according to the jail administrator.
Sheriff's Capt. Guy Mosteller identified the inmate as Donnie Keith Moore, of Macon. He said Moore was in custody on a probation violation and was awaiting a revocation hearing.
He said Moore died about 4:30 a.m. His cell mate alerted jailers that Moore was gasping for breath. Jailers attempted CPR and paramedics arrived but could not revive him, Mosteller said.
