Sinkhole forces detour on Hardeman Avenue near I-75 in Macon
Motorists are urged to use caution after a sinkhole opened up Tuesday night on Hardeman Avenue in Macon.
One lane is blocked at Middle Street near the highway interchange construction zone on Interstate 75.
The Georgia Department of Transportation was called to the scene before 9 pm. Tuesday and the Bibb County Sheriff's Office continues to monitor the situation.
A detour has been set up around the repair work.
