Man struck by train in south Bibb

A man has been taken to a hospital after being struck by a train Thursday afternoon in south Bibb County.
The man's injuries appear not to be life threatening but he will be further evaluated at a hospital, Bibb County sheriff's Sgt. Linda Howard said.
The man was walking along the railroad tracks when he was hit by the ladder on the side of a train by Walden Road, she said.
