Macon man faces another murder charge
A Macon man in jail on one murder charge is now facing another in connection with a separate shooting on Halloween night.
Anterrio Tremaine Stinson, 25, was already in the Bibb County jail on a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of Jonathan Risby, 24, on Nov. 17 on Fairview Avenue.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office release issued Sunday stated that Stinson has also been charged with murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery in the Oct. 31 shooting death of Jackie Dewayne Rouse, 38, at 1013 Dennis St. in Macon. Stinson, who has been denied bond, was served with the warrant Friday.
On Saturday Trayvion Lamonte Burney was arrested at his home and was also charged with murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault in connection with the Rouse slaying. Another man was shot in that incident but survived.
The Rouse slaying was one of three separate homicides that occurred in Bibb County on Halloween night.
Anyone with information on the Dennis Street incident is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
