Golf Channel host, former PGA golfer offering free children’s clinic at Bowden
A professional golfer and host of a Golf Channel morning show is offering a free golf clinic this month.
Charlie Rymer is hosting a children’s clinic 2-4 p.m. Nov. 26 at Bowden Golf Course in Macon. The day will include golf instruction as well as longest drive, putting and closest to the pin competitions, according to a news release.
There also will be opportunities to hit golf balls on the driving range and free food. Each child will receive a golf club.
Rymer hosts “Morning Drive,” which airs daily on the Golf Channel. The Georgia Tech graduate played on the PGA tour and is now a certified PGA professional.
