As Wild Adventures closes down its Halloween fun this Sunday, the theme park will be crawling with costumed children.
The amusement park is giving free admission to kids aged 3-9 who are accompanied by a paying adult or season pass holder.
Only one child is admitted free per paying adult.
The first 100 children, aged 13 and under, who sign up for a “monster-sized” costume contest will compete for a grand prize of two 2018 Gold Season Passes, valued at $240.
Registration begins near the front gate as soon as the park opens at 11 a.m. Sunday.
The contest will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Lakeside Showplace.
This weekend marks the end of Kid-O-Ween, a family-friendly event that features trick-or-treat stations in the park, a costume parade, magical pumpkin patch and foam pit.
Friday and Saturday at dusk, the park features Terror in the Wild that includes night-time thrill rides. “scare zones” and attractions.
