16-year-old Crawford County woman killed in car crash

A teenager was killed Wednesday morning in fatal car accident in Crawford County.

A spokeswoman for Georgia State Patrol said the accident occurred on Carl Sutton and Hamlin roads.

According to Coroner Sheldon Mattox, Lauren Green, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:19 a.m. The cause of the wreck has yet to be determined.

The accident is still under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
