National Guard closing down Sandy Beach park for training at Lake Tobesofkee

Early spring breakers might have to find a different spot to sunbathe next week at Lake Tobesofkee.

Sandy Beach Park will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for National Guard training as part of the Vigilant Guard preparedness drills across the country.

The public will not be allowed in the park during the exercise as security forces practice crowd control in emergency situations.
