Cold weather cancellations, postponements
Morning classes are canceled Monday at the Georgia Academy of the Blind due to a broken heater in the Hendricks Building.
According to the school’s Facebook page, students will be notified by 11 a.m. Monday if they are not to report Monday afternoon.
Staff reports as normal, according to the post.
Other schools, businesses and organizations affected by the cold weather are urged to email closings and cancellations to breaking@macon.com.
