Vehicle rolls into ditch along Heath Road

Three people walked away from a rollover wreck without injuries Nov. 19. The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 19 on Heath Road at Dogwood Drive West in Macon, said Lt. Randy Gonzalez, public information officer for the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Anthony Thanos, 35, was driving a 2003 Ford Explorer west on Heath Road when he approached a stopped vehicle in front of him. He braked and over-corrected to avoid hitting the vehicle, Gonzalez said. He lost control of his car, which flipped into a ditch.

Thanos had two passengers in the vehicle, but they were not injured.
