Isakson, Deal to lead ‘Get out the Vote’ rally in Macon

U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson will be joined Monday at a “Get Out the Vote” rally by Gov. Nathan Deal and other Republican leaders.

The event will urge people to vote for Isakson in Tuesday’s election as he faces Democrat Jim Barksdale. The rally will start at noon at Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

Other leaders expected to attend are U.S. Rep. Austin Scott, R-Ga. and GOP Regional Director for Central Georgia Austin Paul. The event is open to the public.
