INTERACTIVE: Structurally deficient bridges in Middle Georgia
The following is a map of every bridge in Middle Georgia considered structurally deficient, obsolete or in high need of corrective action. You can adjust the sliders on the right to view bridges by sufficiency rating -- a mathematical rating given by Georgia Department of Transportation engineers based on a scoresheet of factors -- and by year built. A deficient bridge is one considered to have a poor rating in evaluating the deck condition, the super structure condition, the substructure condition and the culvert condition. You may not be able to see the graphic on mobile. We love mobile too, so click here for the visual.
