Over 2,300 COVID-19 cases reported in Middle Georgia. Here are the county totals.

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 2,346 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 3 p.m. update Wednesday.

Here are other key takeaways:

  • Cases: 2,346 (+295 reported since Wednesday, June 10)
  • Deaths: 136 (+11 reported since Wednesday, June 10)
  • Bibb County reported the most cases of COVID-19 in the Middle Georgia area with 570. Bibb also has the most deaths with 36.
  • Cases per person: Baldwin County has the most cases per 100,000 with 970. Next in Middle Georgia is Macon County with 862. Jones County has the fewest with 178.
  • The health department is not reporting how many Georgians have recovered.
