1,484 COVID-19 cases reported in Middle Georgia. Here are the cases by county
The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 1,484 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 1:25 p.m. update Wednesday, an increase of 15 cases since 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Bibb County leads the area with 377 total cases. Houston County has 15 deaths, the most in Middle Georgia.
State health officials have not provided a breakdown of the residents tested for COVID-19 in each county. The state is also not tracking the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19.

At 1:25 p.m., the state of Georgia reported 35,332 confirmed cases and 1,505 deaths, with 59 of those in Middle Georgia.
