More than 1,460 cases of COVID-19 reported in Middle Georgia. Here are the cases by county
The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 1,469 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 1 p.m. update Tuesday, an increase of 25 cases since 7 p.m. on Monday.
Bibb County leads the area with 375 total cases. Houston County and Bibb County each have 15 deaths, the most in Middle Georgia.
State health officials have not provided a breakdown of the residents tested for COVID-19 in each county. The state is also not tracking the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19.

At 1 p.m., the state of Georgia reported 34,635 confirmed cases and 1,461 deaths, with 60 of those in Middle Georgia.
