Over 1,440 positives cases of COVID-19 reported in Middle Georgia. Here are the county totals.

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 1,444 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 7 p.m. update Monday, an increase of eight cases since 1 p.m.

Bibb County leads the area with 370 total cases. Houston County and Bibb County each have 15 deaths, the most in Middle Georgia.

State health officials have not provided a breakdown of the residents tested for COVID-19 in each county. The state is also not tracking the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19.

Here’s a breakdown of cases and deaths by county:

  • Baldwin 275, 13

  • Macon 84, 5

  • Laurens 82, 1

  • Peach 63, 2

  • Washington 57, 1

  • Wilkinson 40, 3

  • Monroe 35, 4

  • Pulaski 34, 1

  • Dodge 34, 1

  • Jones 30, 0

  • Bleckley 29, 0

  • Crawford 18, 0

  • Twiggs 8, 0

At 7 p.m., the state of Georgia reported 34,002 confirmed cases and 1,444 deaths, with 61 of those in Middle Georgia.
