Over 1,430 positives cases of COVID-19 in Middle Georgia. Here are the county totals.

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 1,435 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 7:25 p.m. update Sunday.

Bibb County leads the area with 367 total cases. Houston County and Bibb County each have 15 deaths, the most in Middle Georgia.

State health officials have not provided a breakdown of the residents tested for COVID-19 in each county. The state is also not tracking the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19.

Here’s a breakdown of cases and deaths by county:

  • Macon 85, 4

  • Laurens 80, 1

  • Peach 63, 2

  • Washington 57, 1

  • Wilkinson 40, 2

  • Monroe 34, 4

  • Pulaski 34, 1

  • Dodge 32, 1

  • Jones 31, 0

  • Bleckley 29, 0

  • Crawford 18, 0

  • Twiggs 8, 0

At 7:25 p.m., the state of Georgia reported 33,508 confirmed cases and 1,405 deaths, with 58 of those in Middle Georgia.
