Two additional COVID-19 deaths reported in Bibb County; 10 new cases in Middle Georgia
Editor’s note: The Telegraph will provide an updated number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Middle Georgia at noon and 7 p.m. every day.
The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 802 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 7 p.m. Tuesday update, an increase of nine cases since noon Tuesday.
DPH reported two additional COVID-19 deaths in Bibb County in the latest update.
Bibb, Baldwin, and Washington each had three new reported cases. Jones County had one additional case. Houston County had one case removed from the previous update.
As of Tuesday’s report, Macon, Washington, Monroe, Laurens, Wilkinson and Pulaski County each have one confirmed death from COVID-19 in addition to the 12 in Houston County, two in Peach County, four in Baldwin County and four in Bibb County.

At 7 p.m., the state of Georgia reported 20,166 confirmed cases and 818 deaths, with 28 in Middle Georgia.
