There are now almost 200 cases of COVID-19 in Georgia. Here’s the county breakdown.

The Georgia Department of Public Health on Wednesday confirmed 197 cases of COVID-19 in the state, up by 51 from Tuesday’s count.

A majority of the confirmed cases are in the Atlanta metro area. Of the confirmed cases, 39% are ages 60 and older, and 43% percent are between the ages of 18 and 59. Three people who tested positive for the new coronavirus in Georgia has died since the disease was found here.

The Georgia Public Health Laboratory and private labs have conducted a total of 1,508 COVID-19 tests as of March 18, state officials said.

That puts Georgia at a 13% positive test rate.
