The Brick Macon set to open Wednesday
The Brick, a downtown fixture in Milledgeville for 23 years, is set to open a second restaurant in Macon.
The Brick Macon plans to open for lunch at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 1305 Hardeman Ave. The eatery will serve pizza, pastas, calzones and wings along with “flavorful brews,” according to a release. Limited edition giveaways will commemorate the first day of the business in the College Hill Corridor.
The 250-seat, 5,300-square-foot restaurant is on the first floor of the Lofts at College Hill.
“We are building ‘The Brick Macon,’ not ‘The Brick’ in Macon, balancing the history of the people and place with the things that make The Brick authentically unique,” owner Frank Pendergast said in the statement.
The Brick Macon expects to employ about 60 employees and is hiring for all positions. Anyone interested should apply at http://www.thebrick93.com/employment/.
Kitchen hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-9 p.m. Sunday, and bar hours are 11 a.m.- midnight Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, 12:30 p.m.-midnight Sunday with late night menu every night.
