Equipment dealer to locate in Dublin, creating 30 jobs
A new equipment dealer for manufacturers is planning to open in downtown Dublin.
Conyers-based TriStar Aerial Lift and Equipment Sales Inc. is planning to move into a former agribusiness building at 205 E. Madison St., according to a news release.
The family-owned business expects to create more than 30 jobs over five years.
“If everything goes as planned, (TriStar) will begin production in about 60 days,” said Beatriz Lleras, marketing and public relations coordinator for the Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority. “And they will be hiring through the (Georgia) Department of Labor.”
The company would invest $1 million in the launch of its Dublin facility, which will include signs, equipment servicing, refurbishing/reconditioning equipment, a painting booth and a rental center.
The Dublin City Council agreed to rezone the nearly 2-acre site from a central business district to a warehousing and light industry district to allow TriStar’s expansion in the city.
