Self becomes president-elect of Council of Superior Court Judges
Superior Court Judge Tilman E. “Tripp” Self III, Macon Judicial Circuit becomes president-elect of the Council of Superior Court Judges. His term of office runs May 1-April 30, 2017.
Self was elected as a superior court judge in the Macon Judicial Circuit in 2006. Today, he serves as the chief judge of the Macon Judicial Circuit, which covers Bibb, Crawford and Peach counties
The Council of Superior Court Judges is composed of the state’s 212 superior court judges and more than 70 senior superior court judges.
Happy Hour has new executive director
Houston County Association for Exceptional Citizens Inc. known as Happy Hour, has appointed Stan Blaxton as the new executive director. Blaxton is a 1966 graduate of Warner Robins High School and his family has been a part of Happy Hour since its inception in 1956.
Blaxton has served seven years on the board of directors, two of those years as president.
Hamlin promoted to supervisor at Geico.
Dale Hamlin has been promoted to the Geico centralized services training supervisor.
Hamlin started his career in 1997 as a sales representative. In his 19 years with the company, he has served in various positions. He has also been a diversity facilitator for the past three years.
