Hamilton elected board president

Hazle Hamilton, CPA and executive vice president for the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, has been elected president of the Community Foundations National Standards Board, a supporting organization of the Council on Foundations, which is based in Arlington, Virginia.

Navicent recognizes employees for service

Navicent Health recently recognized 721 employees for their dedication and years of service at Navicent Health’s 57th annual employee recognition banquet.

The employees who received special recognition for their dedication were Sarah Smith, 49 years at The Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health; Janice Garrett, 45 years at The Medical Center, Navicent Health; Winnie Taylor, 45 years at The Medical Center, Navicent Health; Jackie Brewer, 40 years at Navicent Health; Becky Smith, 40 years at Navicent Health; Sandy Sumner, 40 years at The Medical Center, Navicent Health; and Margaret Wade, 40 years at Navicent Health.

Coliseum rewards volunteers

Coliseum Health System recently celebrated hospital volunteers with a luncheon. Collectively, the Coliseum Health System volunteers donated 9,800 hours of their time in 2015.

At the luncheon, all volunteers were honored, but special recognition was given to volunteers who had earned at least 100 hours in 2015. Each of these individuals received a pin to wear with hospital badge. Awards were given for longest tenure, most hours in 2015 and most hours overall for each facility. This year’s winners were Susan Maddox, longest tenure at Coliseum Medical Centers for 22 years; Lynda Stearns, most hours in 2015 at Coliseum Medical Centers; Ray Wilkes, most overall hours at Coliseum Medical Centers; Anna Eaton, longest tenure at Coliseum Northside Hospital for 22 years; Joyce Norris, most hours in 2015 at Coliseum Northside Hospital; and Joyce Norris, most overall hours for Coliseum Health System with more than 7,700 hours.
