Macon's Signature Salon to open a second shop

Signature Salon, which has had a shop in Macon since 2008, is opening a second location.

Owners Nichole and Steven Brewer plan to open a 1,050-square-foot salon downtown at 551 Cherry St. this summer, according to a news release.

Signature Salon's current shop at 1520 Bass Road opened in 2015.

"One of the most rewarding elements of this business is the opportunity to teach young stylists," Nichole Brewer said in the release. "I look forward to expanding our team right in the heart of the exciting things happening in downtown Macon."

The new full-service salon will have six hairstylists and will be open Monday through Saturday.
