Macon-based Infinity Network Solutions acquires Atlanta-based Computer Troubleshooters

A Macon-based information technology service company has acquired an Atlanta company.

Infinity Network Solutions Inc., an IT services company for small to mid-sized businesses and public sector agencies, announced Tuesday the acquisition of Computer Troubleshooters NRD, according to a news release. The acquisition is expected to officially take place April 29.

As part of Infinity's continuing expansion, this acquisition "is seen as a strategic move that will improve its business growth to new and existing customers," the release said.

Doug Smith, president of Computer Troubleshooters and employees will transfer to Infinity as part of the acquisition and now operate out of the Infinity's office in Covington. All clients of Computer Troubleshooters will be served by the combined team.
