Workshop in Warner Robins to help new nonprofits succeed
Prospective nonprofits have an opportunity to learn more about what they need to do to succeed.
A workshop called Business Essentials for Non-Profits, will be held 2 p.m.-5 p.m. April 8 at Fort Valley State University, 151 Osigian Blvd., Suite 141, Room 138, Warner Robins, according to a news release.
The workshop demonstrates how to successfully apply the appropriate theories and best practices for building viable revenue streams, the release said. If a nonprofit is considering Internet donations, foundation grants or earned income, it is important to know what to do to be successful.
"This workshop explains the basics of starting a Georgia nonprofit and the resources available," the release said.
The fee is $50, and anyone interested should apply at www.bit.ly/ScoreNonProfit.
