MGA Cheer Extreme to offer two free clinics

MGA Cheer Extreme, a local cheerleading and tumbling training center, will celebrate two decades of operation by offering two free clinics as a "thank you" to Middle Georgia, according to a news release from the business.

The first clinic, for ages 5-11, is set for 10 a.m.-noon on April 16. The second clinic, for ages 12-18, is set for April 22 from 6-8 p.m., the release said. During the clinics, youths will learn about goal setting, perseverance and determination while also learning to tumble and stunt. Six months of free lessons will be given to a lucky winner, the release said.

The training center is located at 240 Mercer Junction off Interstate 475 in Macon.
