Macon Realtor Art Barry III top sales professional for Coldwell Bank Commercial in Georgia
Barry receives sales award
Art Barry III, associate broker/partner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry Inc., has been recognized as the top sales professional in Georgia for Coldwell Bank Commercial and one of its 2015 Top Two, a designation that is reserved for the elite top two percent of producers from among the almost 3,000 Coldwell Banker sales professionals worldwide. Additionally, he has earned a spot in the company's platinum level circle of distinction.
Noland and Schultz join law firm
James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP, a law firm with offices in Macon and Atlanta, added attorneys William Noland and Lauren Schultz, formerly of Childs & Noland, to the firm's litigation practice group in Macon.
Noland represents individual, corporate and government clients in matters involving civil litigation, commercial litigation, insurance litigation and local government liability. Also, Noland is a former president of the Macon Bar Association and the W. A. Bootle American Inn of Court and currently serves on the executive board of the Central Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Schultz focuses her practice on general, commercial and insurance litigation, as well as local government liability defense. After being admitted to the Bar in 2013, Schultz served as a staff attorney for the Honorable Howard Simms and Philip Raymond III of the Macon Judicial Circuit before entering private practice in 2014.
Church Home and LifeSpring business for March
Church Home and LifeSpring was named the March Business of the Month by the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce.
Church Home and LifeSpring offers nursing and rehabilitation services for seniors from counties in Middle Georgia. Tracing its history of delivering care to area seniors to 1939 when the members of Christ Sanctified Holy Church opened the original Church Home for the Aged, the facility has undergone numerous expansions and renovations. In 2014, the LifeSpring rehabilitation center opened to provide services for those needing short-term support following surgery or a medical event.
Cordele bank opens Warner Robins office
Cordele-based Planters First Bank has opened its Warner Robins office at 120-B Osigian Blvd., Suite 200. In addition to mortgage lending, the bank will add commercial banking to this location April 4.
Tiffany Mazo has joined Planters First as a mortgage loan officer and market manager for Warner Robins. Other mortgage loan officers are Shannon Katz, Terilyn Nicely, Dee Dee Norman and Sara Whiddon.
PFB also announced the addition of Jon Heinecke as a mortgage underwriter, Dee Foskey as a senior processor and Brenda Warren as a closer.
Mazo was born and raised in Houston County and has been serving the mortgage lending needs of Middle Georgia for 29 years. She has previously served three separate terms as the president of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia and currently serves as its secretary/treasurer.
Whiddon has 15 years of mortgage lending experience in Middle Georgia, and she is the president of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia.
Norman is a native of Macon and has been working in the mortgage industry for 23 years. Katz was born in Perry and has 18 years of experience in all facets of the mortgage industry. Nicely has 14 years of mortgage lending and retail banking experience.
PFB is a closely held community bank with offices in Middle and South Georgia. As of Dec. 31, the bank reported total assets of $276.6 million and total equity of $25.2 million.
