Job fairs in Macon and Warner Robins offer opportunities for applicants and employers

Job seekers have at least two upcoming opportunities to learn about potential job openings.

Both are free and open to the public.

The Job Connection of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia is holding a job fair in April, but to help applicants make a good first impression at the job fair, Goodwill's Job Connection is holding three job fair boot camp sessions:

10 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 23, Helms Career Center, 240 Broadway, Macon; and

10 a.m. March 24, Warner Robins Job Connection, 2209 Moody Road.

The classes will be taught by human resources professionals from businesses represented at the job fair, and participants will receive early entry to the job fair, according to a Goodwill release.

The spring job fair will be held from 1-4 p.m. April 7 at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon.

The job fair will bring together employers and applicants while highlighting the programs available through the Job Connection. More than 30 employers and community resources will be on site to provide

Also, Central Georgia Technical College will hold a career fair 10 a.m.-1 p.m. March 23 on its Warner Robins campus at 80 Cohen Walker Drive in the Larry Walker Arena on the south side of the campus.
