Peach Auction Sales in Byron has gone out of business

As of last week, Peach Auction Sales in Byron is out of business.

The business at 660 Peavy Road, which opened about four years ago, closed on Jan. 6, according to an email from the company.

"All upcoming auctions have been cancelled," the email said. Anyone who has items or cars at the business are asked to make arrangements to pick them up by calling 956-0910 and leaving a message.

An Jan. 30 auction of classic cars has been cancelled.

The 42,000-square-foot building with an onsite restaurant and 60 acres is for sale and is being handled by Micky Folsom with Coldwell Banker, Eberhart & Barry.
