Macon utility company chosen to operate South Carolina wastewater plants

Macon-based ESG Operations has been selected to operate wastewater plants for a private company in Greenville, South Carolina.

ESG will provide operations, maintenance and management of three wastewater treatment plants for Ni Pacolet Milliken Utilities LLC, according to a release. The utilities cover about 310 square miles and include about 15,000 service connections.

The wastewater utilities will be managed by a staff of 29 people.

ESG has experience as design engineers and contract utility operators. It has 20 offices located throughout the Southeast.
