How long have you been in business?: She did bookkeeping and payroll for a private CPA firm for 13 years until it merged with a large CPA firm.

"I had a lot of small clients, and there are a lot of small businesses that can't afford big CPA firms. And at the time my grandson had come to live with us so I wanted a little more time to spend with him. So I went out on my own. I had some contractor clients at the time and they wanted to go with me. So we started up on North Houston Road and that was about 13 years ago." She moved to the current location three years ago.

The Warner Robins Business and Professional Women's Club named her the 2015 Businesswoman of the Year.

What do you like best about your job?: "I think I like payroll the best. ... What we really like is to have clients who come in here and they are happy with what we do for them. ... We have people come in and say 'we don't know what we would do without you.' ... I have clients that I have done some monthly work for for over 20 years.

What is your specialty?: Bookkeeping and lots of payroll. They do work for clients on daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. And they do some tax returns.

"We have some people we do everything for. We make their deposits, write all their checks. We also do bookkeeping in other client's offices. We do bookkeeping here or there. We set up new businesses. We have small clients, medium clients and have some very large clients.

She also offers notary services.

What are your future plans?:

"I think right now we are happy with what are doing. ... But we would like to increase payroll business clientele.
