Financial adviser joins Capital City Banc Investments

Gary Zane has joined the team of financial advisers at Capital City Banc Investments, a subsidiary of Capital City Bank Group Inc. Zane holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as state life, health and variable annuities licenses. He is a registered representative of Invest Financial Corp.

Saunders receives ACHE Regent's Award

Ninfa Saunders, president/CEO of Navicent Health in Macon has been awarded the American College of Healthcare Executives' Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent's Award.

The award recognizes ACHE members who are experienced in the field and have made significant contributions to the advancement of health care management excellence and the achievement of ACHE's goals.

Since joining Navicent Health in September 2012, Saunders has worked to consolidate local health care options, collaborate with competitors, increase Middle Georgia's medical profile and protect access to health care for those in rural areas. Saunders is board certified in health care management as a Fellow of ACHE.

Dennis named new GWM president

Putnam County native John Dennis, owner of a national consulting firm and author of a recent best- selling book, has been named incoming president of the Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton. Jack Shinneman, the museum's founder who has served as the museum's president since its opening in 2013 retired as of Nov. 15.

Dennis is a USAF veteran and certified air traffic controller and served as training program manager at Northrop Grumman.

Cracker Barrel named business of the month in Perry

The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce business development committee selected Cracker Barrel in Perry as the recipient of the November Business of the Month award.
